Ruth has been a dear dear friend and companion of mine for over 50 years. We spent many hours and many years together sharing SO MUCH laughter and joy and friendship together – and even tears. We originally got together in my little white house by the junkyard back in the early 70’s and would have coffee and chitchat while the kids played in the living room. We spent many years attending our Circle of Love Bible study group and our Women’s Fellowship group at the Sunnyside Mennonite Church. We would share many experiences together throughout the years. The last few years I have missed our nearly daily walks of over 30 blocks round-trip into Lancaster City. We’d stop and get a bite to eat and a drink on the way home. We lost a lot of weight, felt tired by the time we got home, but also felt healthier and happy. We had a lot of fun together. (We started doing that when Damion was just about a year old and I’d push him in the stroller.) Ruth and I will get together again in our Heavenly Home and reminisce about our fun times here on earth. You were loved Ruthie Baby!! I’ll be looking for you when I go Home! May you now rest in the presence of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. ❤️ Your friend, Esther Lentz.
