Charles E. Lausch, 67

Charles “Charlie” E. Lausch, 67, of Lancaster, passed away, Sunday, August 24, 2008 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Elsworth C. Lausch and Sara A. Hickey.

Charlie attended McCaskey High School. He was employed by Hamilton Watch Company (later Bulova Technologies) as a Machinist for 35 years. Charlie was an avid Harley Davidson rider. He was a member of Rainmakers, Riverside Camp Assoc., Amvets post 19, and Pequea Boat Club.

Charlie is survived by a daughter; Margaret Lausch of Lancaster.  He is preceded in death by a sister Marianne Cassaday.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home 414 E. King St. Lancaster 17602. Friends will be received before the service from 6 -7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
