Mary E. Burkhardt, 70
Mary E. Burkhardt, 70, of Lititz passed away, at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Stohler) Daugherty. She was the wife of Andrew Burkhardt Jr. with whom she would have celebrated 52 years of marriage this November.
Mary graduated from McCaskey High School in 1956. She became a L.P.N. in 1984. Mary was an avid volunteer for various causes. She was also a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband Andrew are a son; Andrew Burkhardt III husband of Shareen of Columbia. 2 daughters; Kim Weaver wife of Steve of Lancaster, and Theresa Burkhardt of Lititz. And 8 grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by 2 children; Todd and Lisa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008 at St. James Catholic Church 505 Woodcrest Ave Lititz 17543 at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. James O’ Blaney as celebrant. Friends will be received before the service from 10-11:30 a.m at the church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. Charles F.
