Richard W. Fulton, 67
Richard W. “Dick” Fulton, 67, Lancaster, died at home Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006. He was the husband of Nuala Carey Fulton to whom he was married for 41 years.
Born March 3, 1938 in Battle Creek, Michigan he was the son of the late Richard and Cleo Fulton. Dick graduated from Western Michigan University and served two years as an officer in the US Army. He had a lifelong career in sales, and had been an active member of the Lancaster Jaycees. Dick was a member of the Lancaster Red Rose barbershop chorus and enjoyed singing both in the chorus and as a member of a number of quartets. He loved gardening, playing cribbage and visiting with his grandchildren. Dick is survived by his wife; three daughters: Keara married to Lloyd Fink of Shenandoah Junction, WV, Deirdre married to Warren BeVard of Frederick, MD and Maura of Washington DC; and one son, Sean Fulton married to Lori Ehrlich of Pittsburgh, PA; five grandchildren; one sister: Rae Jean (Penny) married to Roger Cook of Sherwood, MI.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster on Saturday at 10:30am. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:30am until 10:30am. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in Dick’s memory may be made to the Harmony Foundation Inc., 225 W. Washington St., Suite 2330, Chicago, IL 60606.
