Raymond Francis Carbonella, Jr., 52

Raymond Francis Carbonella, Jr., 52 of Lancaster, PA formerly of North Haven, CT, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 while on business in New Jersey. Born in New Haven on July 20, 1961 to Elie Carbonella and the late Raymond F. Carbonella, Sr. Ray was the beloved father of Alyse Carbonella, and the loving companion to Carla Hawk. Ray is also survived by his brothers, Stephen (Melissa) Carbonella, and Paul (Julie) Carbonella, nephews, Justin, Andrew and Paul, and his niece Jayme.

Ray graduated from North Haven High School in 1979, and earned his BA from Central Connecticut State University in 1983. Ray was employed by Letica Corp. of Rochester Hills, MI as a regional sales manager. Ray had a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed life, music, his dog Jake, and all his family and friends. Ray’s largest passion was to care and provide for his daughter, and he was a tremendous dad. Ray will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to join us Saturday, July 19th at St. John Neumann Church, 601 E. Delp Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601. The celebration of Ray’s life will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ray’s name may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online at www.stjude.org/donate.
