Nancy E. Stanley, 70

Nancy E. Stanley, 70, died unexpectedly at her East Lampeter Twp. home on Thursday, November 20, 2014. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Jack U., Sr. and Nancy E. (Hutton) Reincke. Nancy and her husband Samuel E. Stanley, Sr. celebrated 55 years of marriage on November 14th.

A member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, she sang in the funeral choir and attended Perpetual Adoration. Nancy’s main priority was being a homemaker for her husband and 5 children. Nancy worked as a housekeeper at various local motels and previously worked for Schick Company. She sold Avon and Tupperware and had a newspaper route with her son Sam. She enjoyed their camper at Ocean City, MD and Chincoteague, preparing Holiday meals for her whole family, doing ceramics and making Palm Crosses. Nancy loved her family and taking care of kids.

In addition husband Sam, she is survived by 5 children: Tina M. Willauer (late John P.) of Gap, Samuel E. Stanley, Jr., (Shirl Henry) of Lancaster Twp., Sheila A. Brown (Nicholas, Sr.) of Gap, Karen A. Mastriania (Michael A.) of Mount Joy, and Jeanene M. Groff (Scott) of Paradise; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 5 siblings and her Pug dog Misty. Nancy was preceded in death by her great grandson Michael Anthony Mastriania, III.

Nancy’s Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10 AM, Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 119 S. Prince St., Lancaster, PA with Rev. Leo M. Goodman, III as Celebrant. A Viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9 to 10 AM. Interment in St Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
