Mitchell R. Miller, 55

October 09, 2016

Mitchell R. Miller, 55, of Coatesville, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Brandywine Hospital. Mitch was born in Lancaster and was a 1979 graduate of Twin Valley High School.

He worked as a carpentry foreman for Phil Hertzler Construction and co-owned Automatic Telephone Systems in Broomall and Ace Network Services in West Chester.

He was an admirable man, and devoted himself to his family and friends. He left a legacy of love, compassion, and charity – selflessly putting other’s needs ahead of his own. His tremendous heart reached the lives of many and will be sorely missed. Hunting, trapping, fishing and farming were some of his favorite pastimes throughout his life. He was a member of Hopewell Christian Fellowship.

Mitch is survived by his father Maurice R. “Rip” Miller, Jr., husband of Deanna of Denver, PA and his mother Helen Rock of New Mexico; four sons, Paul Miller, husband of Samantha of Lititz, Jonathan Miller, husband of Melodie of Reading, Sam Miller of Reading and Jacob Miller of Coatesville; nine grandchildren, Katie, Sophie, Velicity, Elijah, Mitchell, Olivia, Lizzy Pearl and Lilly Miller and Maya Murphy; four siblings, Michael R. Miller, husband of Jill, Matthew R. Miller, husband of Clarisa, Latta White, husband of Donna and Kindra, wife of Brian Eby; and his nieces and nephews Reggie, Tyler, Maria, Jade, and Justin Miller.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Morgantown Community Church, 4221 Main Street, Elverson, PA 19520, with Pastor Bill Wright and Pastor Merle G. Stoltzfus officiating. The viewing will take place from 9:30 to 11 AM at the church. Interment will be private.
