Mario-Angelo Francis Russo, 29

Mario-Angelo Francis Russo, 29, of Millersville, passed away on May 18, 2012.

Mario left his mark at Penn Manor High School, and graduated from Millersville University. He was recently accepted to Cal State Northridge to continue his graduate studies.

Mario had many aliases, “Johann Flesh-melter” being one of his favorites. He was a dynamic band member in such acts as “Mario Speedwagon, Elf Blizzard, and Lloyd Christmas amongst others. He loved the Phillies, the Trailer Park Boys, the Simpsons, and boxing. One of Mario’s proudest accomplishments was having the reigning title of taco eating champion at Lancaster Dispensing Company. He was truly a renaissance man of hobbies and interests. The most important thing to him was his relationship with his many friends, who all agree that the adventures they had and the memories they shared will be cherished forever.

In addition to his father, Mario is survived by his sister Adriana, his brother Sevvi, his grand parents, Earl Geesey Jr., Vilma Wissler, and Frank and Rose Russo, and many Aunts and Uncles.

Dear Russo family,
I am truly saddened by the loss of a wonderful human being.   Although we were never close friends Mario was always cool with me and to me. He always seemed so full of life and always had a positive attitude.  He was never someone I dreaded running into, and I can say honestly say that I always came away from those random meetings feeling more positive and cheerful.  Both my brother Carl and I send our condolences.

Our thoughts are with him,
Andrew & Carl Wierzbicky
