My brother and I were friends of Lenny. More so my brother, Butch, as they were close in age. They palled around into their adult years, then went to the Navy. They would get the least bald tires from Howell’s throw away tire pile for their jalapies. My brother told me sometimes the tires were so bald when they got wet you could see your face in them. We lived on Centre St. and my brother would climb the rock wall on Railroad St to the back of Lennys old house on Coal St. I remember eating spaghetti at Stramaras restaurant next to Howells. I have two small photos of Lenny and my brother from the 1950s if anyone would like to see them I will e-mail JPG images to them. You may e-mail me at davemeyer@verizon.net . Very sorry to hear of Lennys passing.
