Condolences to the Family

December 05, 2014

Dear Mrs. Dougherty, Tom, Tim, and Emily,
We were all so sorry to hear about Mr. Dougherty’s death. He, and your whole family, meant so much to me growing up. You were my second family. You were all so generous, opening up your home to Steve and me. We feel like we spent as much time at your house as we spent at ours. Mr. D was always so pleasant and talkative when I was there. He really “lit up” when he talked about his stereo system. That was a passion that he and I shared. I have missed seeing and talking with him and all of you these last number of years. Unfortunately, life gets busy and interfers with a lot of things that are important–family, life long friends, and pleasant conversation.
Our sincerest wish is that you and your family receive God’s comfort in this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Please stay in touch.
Jim, Trish, Steve, Chelsea, and Sean Bernheisel
