Dear Doll & Family-

I remember when I met the Stipe family many years ago when Tim and I first started to date. Yes, this note is from Susan Eshelman. It seems like only yesterday I would see "Stipie" walking up and down Poplar Street waving to, and greeting all that passed by. He always had "something" to say! Those were the Good Old Days. I have many good memories of that time in my life.

My blessings and sympathies to all of you.

Susan

We are all so honored that our paths had the opportunity to cross with you and your dear "Stipie". Never has their been a better example of caring and commitment to one another as that which you both displayed. Thank you both for that gentle lesson and for being a bright spot in so many of our days.

Our thoughts and prayers will be with you always.

Doll,

We are sending you our love and blessings. We know that Stipie is in a much better place now. He will certainly be sadly missed by all.

God’s Blessings,

Frances Scheaffer and Judy and Dave Wagner

To Aunt Doll and all my Cousins,

I remember going to Uncle "Stipie’s" as a child with my family and how good of a time we had with all our cousins. Uncle "Stipie" was a great man and father. I always said he reminded me of "George C Scott", the actor. Uncle "Stipie" had a great sence of humor, love of family and of life. He always greated everyone as if they were some long lost friend that he was so glad to see agaun. He raised his children to be the same way and I can think of no better legacy then that for a life well lived. May God be with all of you at this sad time.

All our prayers,

Melanie (Wolpert) Hollingsworth and Family

Dear Delores and Family,

Even though, I have only known "Stipie" and Dolores for a short time; I feel that I have known them both for a life time. They have been so wonderful to me and I feel that I owe both of them so much in that I have now have the privilege of living in their home which they raised their 5 children and lived for 57 years.

With affection and deep sympathy, I will be thinking of you. My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family.
