Babe,

I worked for Joe for several years at Nestle Foods. Joe taught me more about business than anyone else I came across at Nestle or any where else. He always got the job done and I was better off because of him.

I hope you and your family are well!

Dear Babe and Family:

Irene and I are deeply saddened by your call informing us that Joe had passed away. He certainly suffered over these past years and now he will be in God’s tender care where he will have a permanent reprieve from mortal pain.

One of the wonderful benefits that comes from moving around the country during a professional career is that one can meet wonderful caring people like you and Joe and make lasting friends with them.

Joe was a “one of a kind ” individual. We will always remember how we first met you folks at the St. Judes 10:00 A.M Mass here in Sandy Springs. Joe passed the collection basket to Irene saying – “Here, Help Yourself”. She had a difficult time keeping from laughing out loud. We fondly remember the visits we made to you in TN and how you cordially hosted us at your lovely new home on Lake Teleco .

Joe was always a great sportsman, and it was he who took me fishing for striped bass below Teleco Dam where we caught that 38 lb. striper. I shared a special relationship with Joe in trying to analyze the oddities and nuances of the stock market. Babe, it was a privilege and an honor for us to enjoy the deep friendship we have had over the years. We feel particularly fortunate that Joe called us a couple of weeks ago, and we had a chance to chat with him one last time. We’ll call you in the near future.

Dear Babe,

We were so sorry to hear the news about Joe. We have many fond memories of times shared in Connecticut and have often reminisced about the fun we had with our Connecticut friends. Joe was always a good sport and surely he will be missed by all.

Our hearts go out to you and your family. You have our sympathy and prayers.

Dear Babe, Harry and April,Sandi and Laura,

Ken and I send our heartfelt condolences to you and your family at this difficult time. He was ill for such a long time. We’re glad he’s not suffering anymore and is at peace. We just adored Joe. We’ll never forget the "Polish Family Barbecue" we all shared on the Cape, the polish procession with the flag and the family patriarchs, Ed and Joe holding court! I can still here him now "Lori" "Sandi" "Carol" could you bring me… He could always make me laugh. He was an original and I’ll never forget him! He was such a kind and sensitive man and I always appreciated his point of view on issues. I’m glad that you were all able to be together at his death. He will always have a special place in our hearts. Our prayers are with you.

All our love,

Carolyn and Ken Troy

Dear Babe:

Both Nancy and I can’t tell you how sorry we are. We just thought that we all would go on forever. We often think about the wonderful times our families had together, especially the Polish celebration on Christmas Eve. We had many friends here in Connecticut, but you and Joe were very special and more like family to us. Although we have not spent much time together these past years you were always in our hearts and will remains there always. We know how much you loved him. Remember, he lives on in his children and grandchildren, so as long as they are here Joe will be here also because he and you are a significant part of all of them.

We will say a special prayer for Joe and know that he is at peace and with the Father.

Babe, Oh, how we wish we could be there with you.

With all our love and sympathy,

Nancy & Al Roznicki
