Helen G. Moshos, 91

December 20, 2014

Helen G. Moshos, 91, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully at Moravian Manor where she had been wonderfully cared for the past 2 years. She was a very active member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Lancaster where she taught Sunday School, volunteered at the annual church bazaar, and was an active member of the Philoptochos Society. Helen was a charter member of the Daughters of Penelope and had the privilege of being named, Daughter of the Year. She was a faithful Bible study member.
A very caring and compassionate person, Helen was very full of life and always had a beautiful smile. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her children and adored her grandchildren. Helen and her late husband, Arthur, enjoyed traveling to some favorite destinations including Canada, Greece, and Hawaii. Helen and Arthur were also members of the Park City Twalkers. She also enjoyed ceramics, baking and cooking, cake decorating, knitting, chocolates, and playing cards with her grandchildren and friends.

I was sorry to hear about the passing of Aunt Helen. She was a kind and very loving person. I regret that I cannot make the services but send my condolences to my cousins. I know you’ll miss her as you do your father. As I have experienced in my own situation you will think of your parents often. I consider it a blessing that those memories don’t fade as the years pass. You are in our prayers.
