I lived in Lancaster City back in the middle seventy’s and I recall this very nice crossing guard that cared so much for the children. I lived on South Ann St and my last maiden name is Caldwell. Ms Snyder would bring or leave boxes of clothes that her daughters could no longer wear and leave them on our porch for my sister and I. My mother has since passed away back in March of 2011, I now live in Florida. But I often thought about that nice lady. I keep up with the Lancaster NewEra Online everyday and I always look at the Obituary’s. When I saw the picture and read that she was a crossing guard I knew it was her. I called my brother that lives in WA. state and he confirmed that she was a guard up by Fulton School later. To the daughters know that MOM touched so many with her kind acts and her words. I’m praying for you all. Sincerely, Cynthia Ann Caldwell-Clark
