Dear Dave and Family,
 
      Even though I never met Betsy, I heard enough to know that she was a special lady.  I am sure she will be missed. She is happy and settled now- it’s you that I am worried about and hoping that the pain melts quickly into peace and thanksgivimg for her release and your shared years. Dear Dave and Kristen, Sincere sympathy to you in the passing of your wife and mother. I was a college officer with Betsy at Seton Hill and have wonderful memories of time with her while she was at Pitt and McKeesport. Though our life path separated us geographically, she remains a friend to be admired, emulated and appreciated.  I was hoping that we would reconnect and catch up at our 50th college reunion in 2018.
I ask God’s blessing on you and your family as you deal with this loss and hope that over time your memories will sustain you.  Betsy represents the best in all of us.

Dear David,
    I am unable to personally convey my condolences.  Whenever our duties as District Reading Coordinators brought us together to plan events Betsy always shared ideas and concerns that put children first.  She was truly a “Master Teacher”. To me there is no greater complement.
