Bufford Parker, 79

Bufford Parker, 79, of Lancaster passed away Friday, July 13, 2012 at his home. Born in Camden, AL he was the son of the late James and Alberta (Carson) Parker. He was the companion of Cynthia F. Boots for over 37 years.

Bufford was self-employed and had previously worked at Armstrong World Industries for many years. He enjoyed playing the lottery, fishing and going to Hollywood Casino. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a loving companion, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He loved life and lived everyday to the fullest.

In addition to his companion he is survived by a sister, Martha Johnson Parker, of Lancaster, Four daughters: Buffy, Lynn, Tamla Boots of Lancaster and Annie L. (Parker) Milton of Alabama. Three Sons: Ronald L. Boots, Ronnie Parker of Lancaster and Bufford Parker, Jr. of FL. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers. Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews and as well as extended family.

Home Going Services will be at 1PM on Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Roland P. Forbes officiating. A viewing will be at the funeral home on Friday between 11-1PM.
