My son Dustin is a student at Pitt at Greensburg.  I happened to see the UPG website telling of the horrible accident that has affected your lives.  It breaks my heart that you folks are living through the most heartwrenching times of your lives.  We send our children off to college with high hopes for their future.  I have three sons in college.  All on their own.  The empathy I have for you is huge.  My sincerest sympathies.

I learned about Brian and his accident at our CNH America Toastmasters meeting this past week and was deeply saddened.

I am sure I can say for all of us, this was one of the most somber meetings we had in a while, however, meaningful nonetheless.  We all send our prayers and thoughts to your family. 

I pray for God’s peace that transends all understanding and the comfort of His Holy Spirit as you take time to mourn the loss of your precious son.  I also pray the He will lift you up in this time of sorrow to know He is with you every step.
