Barbara and Family, It is with great sorrow that You have lost Mr. Good (Wil)! He was a remarkable, wise, Christian Man. Without a doubt he was the most important and influential Mentor for my 47 years as a Respiratory Therapist. He took a chance on a farm kid from South Dakota and granted an internship on the word and recommendation of another RT my Uncle Justin Lauer. He offered me my first RT job, one that lasted 9 years at WHC. He was a Great Mentor and role model. He demonstrated the RIGHT way to be a leader. Even though he left WHC before I did, he was a mentor to me right up until my tough decision to retire in December 2019 and counseled me through a very tough time! His Christian Counsel put me at Peace with that tough decision! I will never forget him hold him dear to my heart! May God Speed Your Grief Healing and know that He is at Home with Our God in Heaven!

Barbar Good and Family,

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Wil, your husband, Father, and Granfather.
I remember Wil driving the church van to pick up those partners who had no transportation to CCF.
Rather than make it look as if it was a chore, Wil walked like he was in service to GOD.
I pray you will remember the good times, and accept GODs Will.  I am praying for your peace and strength.

We are so sorry to hear about Wilmers passing. He was very influential in starting me on my career in respiratory care. It was his vision and support that kept me going during the first eight years that worked under him as my boss. I will always be greatful for him. May the peace of our Lord and Savior be with all of the family during this time of adjustment. He will be missed by many of us. I (Helen) appreciated that Wilmer and Barb opened their home for my self and Milly Carper after VS and while Phares and I dated.  We grew close to the family.   Again Phares and I are so sorry to hear this.  Please let us know when the memorial service  will be.  We would like to come if we can.  Phares and Helen Bitikofer

Barbara & Family: So sorry to hear of your recent loss of Wilmer.  I have many fond memories of working with him in the Inhalation Therapy Dept. at WHC  for 3 years (1965-1968) during 1-W service.  What a  long time ago. Blessings to you and the whole family during this most difficult time.

Lisa and I are so sad about Wil’s passing, especially for Barb’s and the family’s sake. We look forward to being reunited with him some day. He and Barb guided our voluntary service unit in the early 1960’s in DC. We have fun memories of him, as well as when we visited Capital Christian Fellowship. We were very glad to get reaquainted when they moved to Landis Homes. We would be glad to see all the children again.

May our Lord give comfort as you and your loved ones remember and grieve the love and presence of Wil. Blessings, favor and peace always.

Dear Barb and Family, The news of Wils passing brings us much sadness. However, we are glad for all the amazing memories from WHC and Cottage City and the kindness shown our family by the endless kind deeds showered on us by your family. The one thing that stands out most in my mind about Wil is, “His was a Life well lived”. Blessings as you work through this very difficult time in your family.

Entering God’s      Paradise

As the days go by and life ends for you on this earthly land,
God gave you to me as we became one, to handle life’s demand,
Part of me is gone today, but you’ll always be in my heart,
God wants you home with him as you begin a brand new start,
I’m sad because my life’s partner will be with me no more,
But joyful knowing that you will enter The Lamb of God’s heavenly door,
You were the perfect angel given to me, to be by my side for many years,
My God, how I’ll miss you darling as my eyes overflow with tears,
But Wil you are with Jesus now in the land of Paradise,
I’ll be with you one day my love and we’ll look into each others eyes,
Our life has been so complete, Our love has been so pure,
Life without you will be difficult to endure,
We served the Great Master
Jesus that showed the way, the truth and the life,
As He gave His life on the cross for all, He showed us how to live with strife,
So today, my loving husband, as you leave this earthly nation,
We will meet again in the Promise Land, God’s greatest destination.

Barbara, I hope this poem gives you some comfort and reflects the love the two of you had for each other and for Jesus.
