I have warm memories of spending time at your home growing up. I hope you find comfort in the memories you shared and strength in the love that surrounds you during this difficult time.

I never met Mr. Bill Weiss, but one could say I have become familiar with him through the friendships I’ve made with Mike and Joe. You can often know the character of someone through their children, and best believe they are stand up men. His wisdom and ingenuity as an engineer is also evident in his boys who have found their own but similar paths as they design, and build within their own careers. I’m grateful for the imprint Mr. and Ms. Weiss made in shaping them into the people I’ve had the privilege of befriending.
Rest easy, Mr. Bill Weiss, and continue to live long and prosper through your children and grandchildren.

The day Bill and I met was on halloween 1951 he stopped at my house to trick or treat. I had just moved
into our new home that very day. 74 years have since gone by and through those years we kept in touch.
During our early years together we worked, camped, scuba dived, and boated together. We each stood as
each others best man. What great years and times we had together. Loosing Bill was like loosing a brother.
I’ll miss him till we meet again. Walter Dieckmann
