William Lentz, 34
William Lentz, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, May 18, 2012 at LRMC after battling ALS for 20 years and several infections over the past few months. He was born in Philadelphia on Sept. 14, 1936, to the late Alfred and Mildred Axe Lentz. A self employed painter his entire life until becoming disabled in 1992, he was one of the best painters around.
Surviving to cherish his memory is Angie Lentz his granddaughter and caretaker; 7 children: Keith, Denise, Donald and Steven Lentz, Robin, wife of James Johnson, and Deborah and Kathy Lentz; 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and three brothers, Charles, John and George Lentz. William was preceded in death by his son William Lentz, Jr. and his daughter Justine M. Lentz Enck.
