William L. Lewis, 63

William “Bill” L. Lewis, 63, of Willow Street passed away on August 15, 2025, peacefully at home. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Raymond L. Lewis and Jessie M. (Main) Work. Bill was an adoring husband to Diane F. Lewis and they were together for over 30 years.
Bill was a 1980 graduate of Solanco High School. He retired from Lancaster Press after 30 years of service. He also worked at Sandt Products. Bill loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, camping and biking. He was a member of the Pequea Sportsman Association. He liked cycle karting, riding motorcycles, traveling and attending car shows. He treasured time spent with his family.
Bill was a loving husband, wonderful father and Grampy. He is survived by his wife, Diane; 4 children: William L. Lewis, II, husband of Christine, Ryan Wilhelm, Sabrina Seeley, wife of Ryan, and Alicia Mahan, wife of Steven; 7 grandchildren: William III, Damon, Joel, Caden, Rhett, Brynleigh and Sophia; 2 sisters: Kim Engel, wife of Virgil, and Donna Wise, wife of Terry.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial Donations may be made to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org/pa.

Dear Kim, Donna and family. Im so sorry to hear of Billys passing.Billy was one of my dearest childhood friends. I will always cherish those childhood memories. He was so kind to me and spent hours with me when I was in the hospital. My mom and your mom and us kids went to the bay when we were kids. I spent alot of time in and out of your house.
