William H. Bentley, 65

William passed away peacefully surrounded by his immediate family. He was married for 20 years to Kathleen Pearl Bentley where they resided in Denver PA. Bill started out as a trackman with Amtrak in July 1980 and moved on to Forman and worked his way up to Supervisor of the TLM and retired as deputy division engineer of the Mid Atlantic division. He retired from Amtrak after 36 years of service. He and Kathy enjoyed traveling, riding motorcycles and spending time with their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his 6 children, Christine Bentley, Annmarie Grisafi (Jon), Jennifer Bentley, Danielle Bentley, William Henry Bentley Jr., and Holly Bentley, his stepdaughters Jessica Sewell (Robby) and Lisa Davis (Ronnie). He had 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Anna Jean Malarkey, brother James Roger Bentley (Cheryl) and sisters Rita Haynes (Dennis) and Linda Mullarkey (John). He was preceded in death by his father James Russell Bentley, and his 2 brothers Russell Stanley Bentley and Robert Joseph Bentley.
At this time, funeral services are private by the family

Bill is gone way too soon! We have decades of treasured memories! Will never forget the summer of Grease! He worked at the drive in and that played all summer the year we graduated high school. We have so many stories. His memory will be eternal. Love you all so much! Lots of love an hugs.
