Dear Mark and Sharon, We saw Bill at the Isaac’s restaurant, about four years ago, on Veterans’ Day. He was there for his free sandwich. What a surprise to read that he was in the 82nd airborne. Being a humble man, he didn’t mention that. He was such a good person and always had a kind word to say.
Mark, your Mom and Dad were so proud of you and your accomplishments. You were the light of their lives. We would see and talk to them at the Armstrong Christmas parties. They aways spoke of you.
Then, there was Goodie. We won’t forget how excited our boxer, Samson, was when Bill stopped in at our house. He must have recognized him as a “boxer person.”
We want to extend our deepest sympathy to you, both. There is a new angel in heaven, now, and his name is Bill. God bless you. Susan and Mark Lutter

We all will certainly miss Bill. We enjoyed our holiday dinners so much with him. He certainly enjoyed his food. He was a hoot and kept us all laughing. If we only would have known him longer. Love Tom and the Shrimp lady.

I have so many good memories working with Bill in the Corlon Lab. Not only was Bill an expert at paint matching, he also was a very kind man. We had a great deal of fun togehter. I remember Bill as a real gentleman. My condolences to his family.
