Deepest sympathies to Bill’s family. I worked with Bill on the McCrory project when I first moved to Lancaster in the 80’s, and did some free lance design work for his business. He had the greatest sense of humor. When things became overwhelming on the McCrory project, he would just get this grin on his face and crack up with laughter. (as would I). Don’t know if Ginny remembers the day we invited you and Bill out to our farm in Quarryville and we took a tour through the woods. (many yrs. ago). Bill was such a gentleman, helping you gallantly across the stream and rugged terrain. So sorry for your loss.

Ginny and Susan, please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your husband and father. Though years and circumstances have hindered our friendship, it nevertheless is filled with many, many good memories.
I recall one time when “G. I. Bill” brought an automatic rifle down to the farm to test it out on groundhogs. Bill thought he had it on single shot as a groundhog ran out from cover 40 feet away. Of course, it was on automatic. Bill sure didn’t hit that hogger, but he had that thing dancing like I had never seen any animal before. And the look on Bill’s face — PRICELESS!
In your sorrow, I hope you are able to find peace through the many, similar, fond memories. — Jerry Solomon, Lancaster
