A veteran of World War II, Willard served as a corporal with the US Army.

Read today in News Argus about Pat passing. I had hoped to go by and visit on one of the few times I was in North Wilkesboro to visit my son when he was working for Tyson (no longer there) but like so many times time slipped away.
I hope you and your family are all in good health and doing fine. I miss pat I enjoyed some of the long talks we had when he was here. Much Love and Sympathy.

Would love to here from you and how thing are doing for you and Steve in Pennsylvania.

Dear Gay and Family,

We send our love and sympathy to all of you as we remember your wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and greatgradfather.

Pat was such a unique, lovable and talented man. We will cherish the memories we have of him in Goldsboro. He was our friend, our wonderful partner in politics and one we will remember always.

We feel greatly blessed to have had our lives touched by him (and You, Gay).

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Those of us that worked with him in the New Hope Feeds/Webber Hatchery days have the utmost respect for Pat. He was a wonderful person.

Dear Gay, Mary Sue, and Mike,

I was so sorry to read that your loved one had passed away.  I know you will miss him so much—he was a friend to many, including me! I enjoyed my relationship with him both as a parent of two precious children that I taught and as a colleague when he was employed by Wayne County Public Schools.  He was also a member of the Board of Education in Wayne County when I was selected and hired as principal of Belfast Elementary School—I will always be grateful to him for his support at that time!  I have many fond memories of him and your family!  As you go through this time of sadness, may you know in your heart how very much I care.

Love and prayers….
Annie Lancaster Edwards Fritz
