Wesley A. White, 56, of Lancaster, PA passed away Friday July 4, 2025 in York, PA.
Born and raised in Lancaster, PA Wes was the son of Margeret “Peggy” Angelina White and the late (2025) David H. White Sr.
Wes graduated from Lampeter Strasburg High School in 1987. Alongside his father he worked for many years at Whites Exxon service station in Ephrata, PA. As a skilled mechanic, he later became the owner of White’s Auto in Lancaster. Furthering his entrepreneurial lifestyle, he opened Charcoal’s Bar & Grill. in 2015. In 2019 he founded SRS Home Improvements, aptly named after his beloved nieces.
Beyond his work, Wes was an avid golfer taking annual trips with his lifelong buddies to Champion Lakes Golf Resort. He was a Philadelphia sports fan, specifically rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles. Wes also had a fondness for the water, taking his boat out on the Chesapeake Bay with friends and family, with the ultimate goal of retiring to Florida.
His adventurous spirit took him on many journeys in life, whether riding his motorcycle or jumping out of an airplane, Wes was always game. He loved to have a good time, no matter if he was hosting or attending, he was the life of the party. He was often the center of attention and could light up a room with his laughter.
Wes is survived by his mother, his sister Laura Preiss, brother-in-law Ray Preiss and his nieces Sydney, Rose and Sophie of Manheim. He is also survived by his extended in-laws Lyn Preiss and the Miller Family including “nieces” Savannah and Kinzley, extended aunts, uncles, cousins and his loving girlfriend Laura Temple. He was predeceased by his father, David White Sr. and brother David H. White Jr.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home and Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. Family and friends will be received from 10AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Clearfield United Methodist Cemetery.
