Victor M. Lefever, 68
Victor “Tobe” M. Lefever Jr., 68, of Manheim died Sunday morning at Lebanon Veterans Hospital.
He was co-owner of Fink’s French Fries and was a member of East Petersburg Mennonite Church. He served in the United States Army in Ulm, Germany. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed farming and gardening. His passion, later in life, was enjoying his granddaughters softball games.
He was married to Susanna Brendle Lefever for 46 years.
Born in Southern Lancaster county he was the son of the late Victor M. and Edith Staub Lefever.
Surviving besides his wife is one son, Dale married to Liane Lefever of Manheim; one daughter, Michelle married to Douglas Weidman of Lititz; two grandchildren; Kristin Lefever and Courtney Weidman; three sisters; Hazel married to Harold Hartenstine of Lititz; Anna married to Benjamin Gerlitzki of Manheim; Betty Garner Myers. Preceded in death by four brothers; Arthur, Edward, Raymond and John Lefever.
Funeral services will be held at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz on Wednesday at 11:30am. Calling time will be held Wednesday morning from 10:30am until time of service. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
