Verna B. Frey, 85, formerly of Maytown, passed away in Lancaster on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late A. Roy and Irene Brubaker Landis.
Verna had worked as a sales representative for the Shaklee Corporation for over 40 years until her retirement.
She loved to spend time at the beach, especially at Cape Henlopen. She enjoyed horses, gardening, and was a talented baker and cook. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Verna attended New Wine Christian Center and The Outpouring Church.
She is survived by her children: Larry married to Tina Frey of Leola, Rodney married to Kristie Frey of Lancaster, and Cheri married to Randy Houser of Lititz; her 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and by her sister, Velma Hess of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Landis, and her sister, Marian Kreider.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Dear Family – I worked with Verna at the Cameron Estate Inn many years ago and we had so much fun working together – what a classy lady! I had lost touch with her over the years, so I was especially sad to see of her passing. My deepest sympathies to her family. She was a lovely lady and I enjoyed working with her.
