I am the sister of one of the kids Tyrone came to see every week. Just a day before his passing, he was visiting, non-stop signing papers and joking around with my dad, trying to help get my brother into a better program for his special needs. This man was a light until the day he died, and I only wish he could’ve lived long enough to see my brother thrive outside of cyber school, earning academic awards that we only could have dreamed of a couple years before. And even on the day Tyrone passed, my brother didn’t cry. Perhaps he knew that he’d watch over him. That his memory would live on just as any other.
Thank you, Tyrone. I hope I can write that Sepulveda family book in your name.

My mind was thinking out you on today. Our families have known each other for years as transplants from South Carolina. To a guy who was a sponge for knowledge. We attended Lincoln University together, were proud McCaskey Alumni, and as Fielding doctoral students, and as we became academic scholars we impacted the lives of our clients as Mobile Therapists/Behavior Specialists. I would pick him up for our carpool together almost every Saturday down to Philly for school and he asked so many questions, as he was a year behind our class (2013). He just wanted to learn and master everything and trust the process.  We just spoke 2 weeks before his passing, encouraging one another in our endeavors. He was one I could call on at the last minute and vice versa. When his nephew called me to share the news, I was heartbroken. I continue to miss him to this day. A profound loss to the mental health community. I met Mr. Williams when he serviced students in the school district of Lancaster. He made connections that would help students cope with their difficulties. I was so impressed that I asked him to take on my autistic son, Mekhi as a client. Condolences to the family.
