Condolences to the Family

October 14, 2019

Steve was a great friend to me.  My life is so much richer for having known him and his family.  I am so grateful we were brought together in tenth grade homeroom because of our last names being close alphabetically.  We made so many great memories together in the real world, online and even on the comic book page.  I will never forget him.  Sending thoughts of sympathy to Sharon and Margaret and the rest of the Ha family.

Steve was a huge help to me while working at Landis Valley. When working teas at the Hotel, I enjoyed speaking with him about the animals and goings on at the Museum. I also enjoyed his finger sandwiches! My heartfelt sympathies to Margaret and Sharon.

It was a treasure working with Steve at Landis Valley with special events and weddings. He was kind, encouraging and always willing to share his wealth of experience. He will be missed. Praying for all of the Ha family right now.

Steve and I shared many conversations about just about everything. He loved to debate as did I and we bantered back and forth on controversial topics. He was very supportive of me as a fellow employee at Landis Valley Museum. I remember calling him up upset that I was going to be late for my tours because I got a flat tire. He told me to just calm down and get there safely. He was a dedicated employee there.  I will remember our time together fondly.  My heart goes out to his mother and wife. Hugs to you both!

Steve was a staff member, volunteer and friend to many at Landis Valley Museum for many years. His dry wit and dedication to the museum will be missed. For many years, Steve and Sharon were the friendly faces serving coffee and donuts to staff, vendors and volunteers early in the morning during Harvest Days and the Herb & Garden Faire. His passing is truly a loss to Landis Valley. Sending my heartfelt sympathy to Sharon and the entire Ha family.
