Dear Mr. Scott and family,
My brother Luke & I send our love & sincere feelings of sadness for your loss. Scotty, my dad loved you as a brother therefore your children as his own family, but those who know you understand why. I have wonderful memories up at Lake Wallenpaupack as a small child & it is because of you & Phyllis that those memories exist. I wanted the family the Scott’s had. When I was growing up your family played a big part in our family. My daddy was your biggest fan Mr.Scott; He had big dreams (as I’m sure you did also) for Steve & Luke at CFP. After my mother passed away daddy was lost, she was his strength & moral compass.
Luke & I feel as though we have lost a brother in Steve. Our memories are ones filled with love & laughter. During these difficult times please know that you & your family are in our prayers. To John, Deb,Veronica,Chrissy & Kimmie, Luke & I can only imagine the pain of losing a sibling, thanks be to God, but one day it will happen that is why we all must express our love for eachother each & every day.
May the Lord bless you and keep you safe and strong,
Our Sincerest Condolences & Love,
The Ryan Family

Steve…Roughly 17 years ago, you invited me up to your cabin for a couple days of grouse hunting. It was my first real introduction to bird dog hunting and wasn’t sure what to expect, especially after my 6 hour drive in a blizzard, sharing a bench seat of a pickup truck….with Dan and Jeff.
We hunted in 5 degree temperatures in over a foot of snow and flushed tons of birds. The weather, the dogs, the company of the crew that I really didn’t know well at all. Well, makes it still rememberable to this day and I want to thank you for that. Thank you for introducing me to what became my passion. The sport of upland hunting with a four legged friend.
May god bless your family.
