Stanley R. Pinson, 73

Stanley R. Pinson (Walking Boss), 73, of Paris, TN, passed away peacefully at Evergreen Estates in Lancaster, PA on Monday, December 16, 2024. Born in Huntingdon, TN, he was the cherished son of the late Catherine (Wilkins) and Wade Pinson and the devoted husband to the late Frances (Chelchowski).

A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Stanley served his country with distinction as a Staff Sergeant from 1978 to 1994. His military career was marked by dedication and honor, values that carried through all aspects of his life.

Stanley was a man of many passions. He loved the outdoors, spending countless hours hunting, fishing, and relaxing by the lake. A true animal lover, he enjoyed the companionship of all creatures great and small. His hobbies included riding his Harley, watching movies, and doing projects around the house—activities that showcased his adventurous and resourceful spirit. Stanley loved to listen to an eclectic range of music and had a fondness for horses, reflecting his appreciation for the beauty and grace of nature and the world around him.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and family. Surviving him are his son, Christopher Henson (Renee) of Manheim, PA; two sisters, Mary (Landis) Brown of Mixie, TN, and Patsy Barnes of McKenzie, TN; and one brother, Hugh (Lois) Pinson of Mansfield, TN. Stanley is reunited in eternity with his brothers Mark, Robert, Isaac, Timothy , and Baby Boy Pinson, as well as sisters Patty, Garyon, and Melba who all preceded him in death.

A service to celebrate Stanley’s life will be held at a later date.

Stanley R. Pinson will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family, his country, and the things he loved most. He touched many lives with his kindness, strength, and passion, leaving a lasting imprint on those who knew him.
