Staci Andrea Phillips, 49

June 17, 2024

Staci Andrea Phillips, 49, of Lititz, passed away at her home on Monday, June 17, 2024. Born in Lancaster, she was the beloved daughter of Diana M. “Dee” Sanchez Groff and the late Benjamin F. Groff Jr. For nearly 25 year she was the loving wife, heart and soul of Marc-Daniel Phillips. Staci’s passion was serving others, and she did so by working at various nursing homes throughout Lancaster County as an LPN and later becoming a Certified Professional Coder and a LPNAC.

Her kindness to others never went unnoticed and it only took the simple things in life to make her happy. Her infectious smile always warmed the hearts of others. She was full of zest and lived her life in the ways she wanted to, always being outspoken and spending time with her favorite people and places. Her favorite places being, Port Deposit and Lake Tobias, were where she found her peace. Staci’s family will always be accompanied by the fond memories they share of traveling to Cape May as a family throughout her childhood. Her love of the beach eventually transformed into a love of mermaids. She will be lovingly missed by her dog, Bravo. Most of all she was proud to be the wife of a Retired Army veteran and more than anything a woman who had beaten one of life’s toughest battles, cancer.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother, is her cherished son, Ethan T. Groff, her identical twin sister, Traci wife of Jason Nayduch, as well as her niece, Analise, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who will always carry on her legacy.

Those desiring can send contributions in Staci’s memory to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

I worked with Staci at UZ and continued to keep in touch on line. I loved her sense of humor as well as her honesty. We shared the love of animals and I was lucky enough to meet Bravo and Luna. She worked hard for the patients in her care. Losing Staci is a huge loss for family and friends. She was a fighter!
