Silvia Morales “Silver” Fontanez, 41, of Ephrata, passed away on August 5, 2025. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Tracy Sue Carney.

Silvia worked for the Ephrata Review for a short period of time. She was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing. She loved going camping, watching the Twilight Zone and the Simpsons, and playing her favorite bowling game.

In addition to her mother, Silvia is survived by 2 children: Amber Sweigart and Brayden Boyer; granddaughter Delilah, and 3 sisters: Elizabeth Shaver, Tasch LeFever, and Alyssa Deamer (Dion).

Services will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to American Heart Association.
