Sheila was a wonderful friend and neighbor who always had a smile.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  I’m sure Ned was waiting for her with a halo in hand as she took her place among the angels.

Grieving with you all. Loss is especially profound when you are so close. But what a wonderful way she raised you all, to love and enjoy being family. And to have faith. What I remember about her is her sweet spirit. Very gracious. Love you Amanda, Jay, Ian and Livi and your siblings and families. Family of family is family, too.  Love, Aunt Sue

Prayers for the Gardner family.

As one of her Riverwood neighbors (Port Charlotte, FL) I grew to treasure my relations with Sheila.  She was truly a lovely neighbor, always ready to join our activities and contribute as needed.  I personally looked forward to her arrival and was sad when she returned to her other home in Pennsylvania.  She always spoke enthusiastily about her family members; so I sense you are all so sad to have her leave her earthly home.  I know that she will find her place in the Heavenly home.

My deepest sympathy to Sheila’s family during this time of grief & loss. Her star will shine brightly in the heavenly sky.
Sheila was a warm & generous lady. Our friendship was here in Port Charlotte where we enjoyed dinners, gatherings, & concerts together.
I will miss her smile and sense of humor and cherish memories of good times. May memories of wonderful family times warm your hearts with joy. Sheila & your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Warm Regards,
Cleo Grayden
