Sharon Little, 70

Sharon Maureen Little, 70, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away on January 1, 2024, at Moravian Manor in Lititz. She was born on August 18, 1953, in Arlington, VA. Sharon was a treasured mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Sharon is survived by her son David Little and daughter-in-law Brooke Little, as well as her granddaughters Harper and Grayson. She is also survived by her twin sister Sheila Fargis (Peter), her sister Robin Russo (Mike), and her brothers James Little and Richard Little. She is remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father John Cecil Little, mother Lillian Little, stepmother and aunt Mary Little, sister Kathleen McCarty, and brother John Michael Little.
Sharon pursued higher education at the University of Maryland, where she obtained a business degree in Accounting. She went on to have a successful career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Sharon dedicated many years of service to Highmark Health, where she completed a long and fulfilling career. Prior to that, she utilized her business skills at Fairfax County Park Authority and Nuclear Support Services.
In her free time, Sharon found joy in her hobbies. She had a deep love for animals and doted on her precious dogs and cats. During her younger years Sharon was an athlete, enjoying sports such as softball, skiing, and golf. As a mom, Sharon spent many hours cheering her son David in his soccer, track and ice hockey events.
Sharon Maureen Little will be greatly missed. Her memory will live on through the moments she shared with family and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Sharon’s name may be made to the Humane Society of the Harrisburg Area.

David and family, I am so sorry to read about Sharon’s passing. We worked together many years ago at NSS and then lost touch. I have a lot of wonderful memories of the times that we shared including when she was pregnant with you! She was so excited to become a mother.
