Shannon “Twitch” Groff, 44

March 04, 2023

It is with mournful sorrow that we announce the passing of Shannon L. “Twitch” Groff, of Lancaster. A beloved son, brother, friend, and member of the motorcycle community and a passionate enthusiast of the club lifestyle. Shannon passed away on the 4th of March 2023, at the age of 44. Born in Ephrata, he was the son of Carol Ann Wetzel, and the late Richard W. Groff.
As a member of the Malicious MC, Shannon embodied the spirit of brotherhood and camaraderie that defines the motorcycle community. He was a tireless advocate for the values and principles that Malicious held dear, and his commitment to the club was an inspiration to all who knew him.
Shannon’s passion for motorcycles and the club lifestyle was matched only by his love for his family & friends. He often spoke of the mythical realm of Valhalla, where brave warriors are said to be welcomed after death and his dedication to the club was fueled by the belief he was part of a brotherhood that would ride together forever, even beyond this mortal plane.
The loss of Shannon is deeply felt by his family, friends, and fellow club members. He will be remembered as a fierce rider and a loyal friend. While we grieve his passing, we take solace in the belief that he has now joined the ranks of the fallen warriors in Valhalla, where he will ride forevermore.
In addition to his mother, Carol, Shannon is survived by his Son Damien Groff, daughter Vienna Groff, brother Shane Groff, sister Mandy Fryburg (Jeremy), 2 nieces and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Friends and family will gather from 4-6PM on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz. Services will begin at 6 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can go towards the funeral expenses at https://gofund.me/7d23849c
Rest in peace, Shannon “Twitch” Groff.

R.I.P. I didn’t know all that well but from what I knew and was told about you you were a very loving and kind person. You will be loved and missed by many but definitely not forgotten. We know that you will be watching over your friends and family and keeping them safe.

Oh Shannon…my heart is broken! We never got that ride we talked about.I knew a very deep, intelligent man who always doubted yourself. You and I had a connection even if we parted ways. The person I know wanted to live free from all the darkness.Together we tried hard to to find that peace of mind.I’ve known you since a teenager and knowing I can’t remind you what a great person you were no matter your doubts reminds me how quickly life can change. My heart goes out to all your family as I know this is devastating to all.Rest that beautiful mind my dear..Ride on forever, two to the ground 💕 We got you!

Where to begin. We met when I was 16 and I could already tell you were someone I wanted to have in my life. Some of the times were rocky but I always knew we had each other’s backs. I still can’t believe this is real but I know you are in a better place now and will be watching over me. I will always love you <3

There’s another hole in my heart Bro. I’m gonna miss jumping on the back of your bike because “Sissy needs wind therapy!” Your crazy laugh when you’d speed up and I’d yell. I know you have found peace as we all will too one day. Hearing Sweet Child O Mine will never be the same…I’ll be waiting for you to say Our song Sissy!! I know you and Mom are now my guardian angels and I’m well protected. Love you always Big Brother. Your Lil Sissy forever~Amber
