Sandi L. Zell, 64, of Talmage passed away peacefully and went to her heavenly home on January 5, 2024. Sandi was born in Ephrata, the daughter of Kenneth B. and Shirley A. Zell and was a resident of Akron until her move to Talmage. She was a 1978 graduate of Ephrata High School and went on to graduate from the LPN program through Lancaster County Vocational Technical program. Until her retirement, Sandi spent her nursing career caring for and ministering to countless patients and their families. Sandi was a lifelong member of and attended Akron Grace Evangelical Church, until her health no longer permitted.

Sandi’s smile and sense of humor were always at the forefront. She gave selflessly of herself and shared her life and love with her family, her friends and her pets. Her heart was bigger than most, and she always put others’ needs in front of her own.

Sandi is survived by four sisters and two brothers- Teri Goshert, Tom Zell, Patti Rockwell, Tammy Ruth, Tim Zell and Penny Schlott; 11 nieces and nephews; and six grandnieces and grandnephews.

A Celebration of Life celebration will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. at the Akron Fire Company, 1229 Main Street, Akron, PA.
