Samuel J. Storm, III, 76

Samuel J. Storm, III, 76, of Akron, formerly of Coatesville, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at home. Born in Oklahoma City, he was the son of the late Mabel (Paxton) and Samuel J. Storm, Jr. He was the loving husband for over 40 years to Anita (Lambert) Storm. She survives him along with his children.
Samuel was a Veteran of the US Army. Sam was the owner of Sam’s Truck and Tire Shop. After retirement, Sam’s became interested in collecting rare coins. He enjoyed fishing and boating, but mostly he cherished spending time with his family and dogs, Hailey and Skully.
Surviving in addition to his wife is his son Eric C. Storm, husband of Julie of South Carolina; his step son Marcus Hall, husband of Laura) of Lititz; his 7 grandchildren; Erin, Robby, Elliott, Xander, Maura, Nathaniel and Lucas; his brother Dan. P. Storm, husband of Freda of Oklahoma and his brother in law Steve Kestler. He was preceded in death by his son Robert “Bobby” Storm and sister Marilyn Kestler.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1PM on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at the Courtyard by Marriott, 600 Manor Road, Coatesville, PA 19320. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ST. Jude’s Children’s and Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.

I appreciated Sam in so many ways as a friend and mentor. He was always interesting and did things his way…..sometimes at a rather slow pace indeed! I would like to hear from Anita if possible. Thank you, Sam and Anita.
