Uncle Russ was like a Grandpa to our children. He took them out on his boat and taught them to fish. One time we were on his boat at the hunting club and a deer came up and looked at us. Our daughter, Alex, asked Russ, “Why isn’t Bambi talking?” We always had a fun time with Uncle Russ and will miss him. 😢🙏🏽❤️

I am heartbroken over your loss of such a wonderful, kind and caring husband and father. He was my friend and favorite fishing buddy. The times spent with Russ and Lynda were special and filled with wonderful memories and loads of fun and laughter. Chuck and Russ were more than college roommates and fraternity brothers, they were like brothers in life, family. I know Chuck greeted Russ with open arms and a huge smile. May the belief that you will be reunited with Russ help guide you through the current crushing grief of loss you’re feeling now. May the special memories you’ve shared ease your sorrow and bring smiles and laughter. Russ was a special man and will always be remembered and cherished by so many. Sending love and hugs to Lynda, Kristin, Jeff and families.
