Roxanne L. Reese, 88

January 13, 1936 - May 13, 2024

Roxanne L. Reese, 88, of Lancaster, passed away May 13, 2024. As a lifelong resident of Lancaster, she was born on January 13, 1936, to the late William G. and Emma E. Wingenroth. She shared over 67 years of love and memories with her husband, Theodore Reese, Sr.

She is fondly remembered for her love of playing bingo at the Knights of Columbus, visiting casinos, and trying her luck with lottery tickets. Roxanne was the definition of a people person. Regardless of where she was visiting, she always found someone she knew.

Her memories will live on in her husband, children, Kim Reese-Shoff, wife of Jim of Millersville, and Theodore “Ted” Reese, Jr., husband of Leeann of Manheim; grandchildren, Joshua Bouder, Brian Shenk, and Emma Reese; great grandchildren, Michael Starin, Tyler Bouder, and Mason Shenk; as well as her sister, Judith Wingenroth. She was preceded in passing by her parents and siblings.

A committal service honoring Roxanne’s memory will be held at 11 AM on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Conestoga Memorial Park, 95 2nd Lock Rd. Lancaster, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Millersville VFW 7294, 219 Walnut Hill Rd., Millersville, PA 17551.

My sincere condolences to all who loved her. She will always be remembered as Aunt Rox to me. I cherish the family gatherings, camping and bingo. She was always funny, happy and a joy to be around.  I know she will be deeply missed by many.
