Ronald W. Karr, 75

Ronald W. Karr, 75, of Landisville died on Sunday, August 6, 2017, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in 1942, he was the son of the late Oscar and Kathryn (Dombach) Karr. He was married to Dorothy (Collins) Karr for 47 years.
Ron worked for Delmarva Millwork Corp. for 52 years. He was a loving husband father, and Pop-Pop who loved the great outdoors. He loved time spent hunting, fishing, and gardening. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Dottie, a daughter Desiree L., wife of Brent Weber; two sons: Christopher M. and Jason M. companion of Mandi Dunn; and two grandsons, Chase M. Trussell and Luke V. Karr. Ron is also survived by three brothers: Richard, husband of Nancy (Owens) Karr, J. Robert, husband of Patricia (Mills) Karr, and James B., husband of the late Joan (Aument) Karr; and one sister: Judy S., wife of Paul L. Myers.
A time of visitation with the family to celebrate Ron’s life will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 11AM to 2PM at the Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601. Casual attire is requested. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Ron’s memory be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
