Robin Renee Keyser
April 12, 2025
Robin Renee Keyser, beloved wife, mother, nana, sister and daughter passed away surrounded by her loving family at her home on Saturday, April 12, 2025, after fighting a 6-year battle with cancer with persistent courage and determination. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Evelyn McConnell Frantz and the late Robert Frantz. Robin was the loving wife of Jeffrey Keyser, and they took on life with one another through the highs and lows. She was a woman of God and was a member of LCBC, Manheim Campus. For over 43 years, she worked as an X-ray technologist and department head for Ephrata Hospital.
Robin found joy in the little things in life such as baking, gardening, birdwatching and spending time by their family’s oasis, the pool in which many memories were made over the years. You could also find Robin cheering on her favorite football team, Notre Dame. She was an avid runner who even participated in the half marathons less than 6 months prior to her diagnosis. She left an impression on nearly everyone she met and loved fiercely. More than anything, Robin loved her family, and the time spent with them while vacationing at Hilton Head Island. A proud mom to a United States Veteran, and proud nana, her presence will be deeply missed. She is now reunited with her faithful canine companion, Allie Mae Mae.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Jeff and mother, Evelyn, are three sons, Ryan D. Firestone, Ian P. husband of Kimberly Firestone, Alex C. Firestone, two stepchildren, Benjamin M. husband of Daria Keyser, Abbey E. Keyser and her significant other Chris Henry, 7 grandchildren, Alex, Connor, Margaret, Nolan, Molly, August, Daria. Also surviving are her siblings, Robert husband of Colette Frantz, Tina wife of Randall Hassler, Betty Wessner as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Robin’s Celebration of Life at LCBC Church, Manheim Campus, 2392 Mount Joy Road, Manheim, PA 17545 on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the West Wing Auditorium. Please enter through the auditorium South entrance. Visitation with the family will begin immediately following the celebration of life service. Those desiring may send memorial contributions to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, https://www.mskcc.org/.

Extending heartfelt sympathy to Robin’s husband and her family . During Robin’s high school years , she played field hockey on a team I helped to coach . My recollection of her as a player …. quiet, focused, intense, and hard working . Many years later , I saw her after the cancer diagnosis . And I remember thinking this girl is a fighter ! And fight she did … valiantly . Within the past year, a family member of mine has been diagnosed with cancer . I turned to Robin for information about Sloan Kettering . She went above and beyond to provide that information . Her genuine concern and kindness was greatly appreciated . The world lost a really good and kind person . May those attributes be an inspiration to all of us .
