Robert W. Taylor, 84
Robert W. Taylor, 84, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Buffalo, NY he was the son of the late Albert C. and Lisbeth (Albein) Taylor. He was married to Gerry L. Taylor for over 38 years. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. He retired from Amherst Industries, of Landisville in 1988. He enjoyed his toy trains, fixing things and helping anyone who needed help. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Cheryl A. Brunner, of Lancaster, Jeffrey D. Brunner, husband of Lori, of Conestoga, and Thomas L. Brunner, of Columbia. He is also survived by a brother, Donald Taylor, of Chicago, IL, six grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one grandchild.
Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Leonard and I are deeply saddened to learn about Bob’s death. I always enjoyed stopping to speak with him, and seeing his latest project he was "fixing". He was a very special person and we are sorry for your loss.
