Robert R. Bruner, 85

Robert R. Bruner, 85, of Pheasant Ridge Community, Lancaster, PA entered into rest on Monday, February 27, 2012 at his home. Robert was born on February 13, 1927 in Somerset, PA. He was the youngest of seven children of Albert and Orpha (Gross) Bruner.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

He proudly served in the US Army during WWII.

Robert retired on March 1, 1992 from Armstrong World Industries after 45 years as tow motor operator.

Robert enjoyed going to hockey games, he was a fan of the Hershey Bears, watching the Phillies games on TV, and bowling.

He is survived by one sister, Dorothy, wife of John Menser, of Somerset, two nieces, Carol Blubaugh, of Lancaster, with whom he resided for 36 years, Jennifer Horst, wife of Michael, of Columbia, PA and several nieces and nephews.

Private Graveside Services will be held at the Habecker Mennonite Church Cemetery with The Rev. Charles A. Deutsch officiating.
