Robert L. Grove, 71, of Lititz, PA, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Hospice and Community Care. Born on July 27, 1953, in Windsor, PA, he was the son of Kathryn (Saylor) and the late Kenneth L. Grove. Bob shared a life of love and cherished memories with his devoted wife, Cinda “Cindy” B. Grove, for forty years.
Bob was a man of many interests and talents; a loyal fan of NASCAR, the Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as Penn State football. He found joy in following his favorite teams and the thrill of racing. Bob had a deep love for the outdoors, spending countless hours hunting, camping with his family, and taking vacations to Ocean City, creating treasured memories that will last forever. Bob worked construction for over 40 years and had a natural talent for working with his hands. He excelled when it came to fixing cars, completing crossword puzzles, and anything carpentry related. Bob had a remarkable ability to turn ideas into reality. His creativity and resourcefulness were admired by all who knew him.
Bob meant the world to his family, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his children; Kevin A. Grove of York, PA, Robert L. Grove II of Hamilton, OH, and Rebecca L. Grove, wife of Joshua R. Przybyszewski of Shillington, PA, his sister Sandy K. Sipe, wife of Scott Sipe of York Haven, PA, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Jean M. Almoney and Kenneth L. Grove Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Warwick Community Ambulance and/or Hospice and Community Care of Mount Joy. Bob will be remembered for his love of family, his wide range of talents, and his generous heart. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. A service will be held in honor of Bob at the convenience of his family.
