Robert L. “Bob” Wilson, 70
October 25, 2024
Robert L. “Bob” Wilson, 70, of New Providence passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2024, at his home. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Howard H. Wilson and the late Dorothy McMinn Wilson. He was the loving husband of Elizabeth Maus Wilson, and they would have celebrated 23 years marriage the day after his passing.
He was a proud graduate of Conestoga Valley High School. Bob was a faithful member of Lord’s House of Prayer, Lancaster. Bob enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, whether it was woodworking, tinkering around, and helping his neighbors when he could. He had a passion for reading and writing letters, the old-fashioned, handwritten kind that always brought a smile to those receiving them. Bob was always intrigued by the mechanical side of things which always sparked his interest.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Elizabeth, is a son, Robert D. Wilson, as well as two grandchildren, Kayla R. Ortman and Kole A. Mortin and a great grandchild. He is also survived by two siblings and multiple nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was a daughter, Tabitha M. Wilson, and a brother, Randy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Robert’s Funeral Service at Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike North, Willow Street, PA 17584 on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 6:00 PM. There will be a viewing and time of visitation from 5:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will be private in Laurel Hill Memorial Garden.
