Robert Hornberger, 85
June 4, 1934 - February 13, 2020
Robert Hornberger, 85, of Peach Bottom, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020, at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy. Born in Ephrata, he was the son of the late Robert and Hilda (Staffer) Hornberger.
Robert worked as a truck driver for many years for Goods Disposal Service and later for Church’s Garage from where he retired.
Robert is survived by his wife of 18 years, Lydia A. (Byerly) Hornberger of Lancaster; a daughter, Tammy Gebhart (Kevin) of Quarryville; a son, Jeff Hornberger of Ephrata; three stepsons, Joseph Becker, David Becker and Andrew Emrick; 4 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pauline Schmuck (Vernon) of Ephrata. He was predeceased by a grandson, Theodore (T. J.) Bair.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

My condolences to the Lydia and family. Many wonderful memories from when my boys were young and spent a lot of time with Bob. He was an awesome step grandfather to them.
