Dear Barbara and family, I was so sad to hear of Bob’s passing. Sitting in the pew behind Bob and Barb at St. Mary’s Saturday evening Mass became a routine practice for us. And Bob thanking me for saving the pew for them…we sat in the 1st and 2nd pews on the side aisle which were almost always open!  But I would play along and respond that it was tough, I had to fight people off with clubs to do so!….and we would just smile to each other and he’d take his seat.  And the genuine care and concern shown by both of them when they would ask me if I was okay, if I had not attended that specific service for a week or two, when I returned….this always meant a lot to me. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I sincerely hope that knowing that this kind man is now at peace with God will bring you comfort at this difficult time.

We are so sorry for your loss of Bob. Carl has many fond memories of golfing with Bob at Meadia Heights Golf Club. One memory was on the 15 Th hole when Bob’s belt broke and he borrowed mine for the remainder of the round. Bob was always fun to golf with and was always a gentlemen.
