Robert “Bob” William Zimmerman, II, 49
September 14, 2025
Robert “Bob” William Zimmerman, II passed away at his home on September 14, 2025. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Robert and Carol (Paulsen) Zimmerman.
An avid e-bike cyclist, Bob found joy in cruising along the trails, exploring the great outdoors and embracing nature. He cherished camping trips under the stars and spent many sun-soaked days at the beach. When not outside, Bob could be found actively annihilating foes in Battlefield or Star Wars Galaxy or in the kitchen putting his cooking skills to the test.
A passionate sports fan, Bob’s heart beat for the Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Flyers, and Philadelphia Phillies. He embraced the thrill of the game, often gathering with friends and family to cheer on these teams. When a good sports game couldn’t be found to watch on television, Bob found enjoyment watching Star Wars. A great enthusiast of the Star Wars saga, his imagination was ignited by the adventures of far-off galaxies and other fantasy worlds including, but not limited to LOTR, MCU and DC.
Most of all, Bob’s love for his daughter, Maddie, was boundless, and it was clear to all that she was his pride and joy.
In addition to his loving daughter, Madeleine Elizabeth Grace Zimmerman of Ephrata Robert W. and Carol Zimmerman of Lititz, Bob is survived by his brothers: Adam Zimmerman of Lancaster and Daniel Zimmerman (husband of Stephanie) of Dover, PA; his aunts Diane Paulsen and Dolores Paulsen both of Lititz; his uncles: David Zimmerman (husband of Debra) of Kinzers, Ronald Zimmerman (husband of Vicky) of Franklin County, PA and Kenneth Zimmerman of Gordonville; 2 nieces and 1 nephew and Maddie’s mother, Michelle Zimmerman.
Bob is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Lester and Arlene Zimmerman and his maternal grandparents: William and Dolores Paulsen and beloved dog, Stryder, who was fifteen, passing right before last Christmas.
In honor of Bob’s life, family will invite friends to gather to celebrate the love, laughter, and memories he created throughout his journey on Monday September 22, 2025 from 3pm to 5pm at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. 17543. Interment will be held privately by the family.

September 19, 2025
Our deepest sympathy goes out to Maddie and her family, as well as to all of Bob’s work family and friends. Although our first and only meeting with Bob was brief, it was truly an honor to host him recently at our Littig Family summer picnic. His presence left a lasting impression, and he will be fondly remembered.
